Stress is something everyone feels at times, and there are all kinds of stressful situations that can be a part of daily life. Low-level stress can even be helpful or motivational. However high levels of stress can be linked with a number of medical conditions and subsequently contribute towards a shortened life expectancy.

With this test we can check for some key stress, hormone and vitamin levels to help ensure that your physical health is not affecting your mood, and that your stress is not affecting your physical health too.

This test includes

  • TOTAL Testosterone
  • TLFT / Liver Function Tests (Bilirubin, ALT, Alk Phos GGT)
  • Vitamin B9
  • Vitamin B12
  • Vitamin D
  • Thyroid Function Tests (FT4/TSH)

 

Optional addition tests you may wish to add on to this test.
Do you have any pre-existing medical conditions, or can you provide details of your medical history which may impact the results of this test. Please be as detailed as possible.
As a CQC registered organisation, we recognise that these results can be important to future care you receive. As such, by providing your GP's details we will register you in our clinical system, store these results in line with regulations and send a copy to your own GP. Please provide your GP's Sugery, Doctors Name and Address to facilitate this.

Results reviewed by our doctors

As a hospital, we have a range of qualified staff from GPs to specialist consultants and leaders in their fields.
We ensure than all results outside of the normal range are reviewed by our doctors before being sent to you. This way you know that when you receive your results you’re doing so in the knowledge that our doctors are not alarmed. If by any chance we do spot anything, we have a range of services there to ensure you receive a thorough investigation into what’s going on.

How long do my results take ?

We aim to ship all kits out by the next working day.

When you complete your sample, pop it back in the post and it’ll make its way to the lab via Tracked 24 delivery.

All results will be returned within 48 hours of us receiving your kits back at our lab.
