Inflammation is part of the body’s defense mechanism. It is the process by which the immune system recognizes and removes harmful and foreign stimuli. This test helps ensure that your bodies main inflammatory marker CRP is not raised. CRP or C-Reactive Protein can be raised when you have a simple underlying infection, which could need antibiotics, or in some cases they can be a sign of something more sinister.

You’ll be safe in the knowledge that if we spot anything wrong we will give you a call to discuss the results and can offer you a range of services from GP appointments right through to specialist care if we do spot anything at all.

As a hospital, we have a range of qualified staff from GPs to specialist consultants and leaders in their fields.
We ensure than all results outside of the normal range are reviewed by our doctors before being sent to you. This way you know that when you receive your results you’re doing so in the knowledge that our doctors are not alarmed. If by any chance we do spot anything, we have a range of services there to ensure you receive a thorough investigation into what’s going on.

How long do my results take ?

We aim to ship all kits out by the next working day.

When you complete your sample, pop it back in the post and it’ll make its way to the lab via Tracked 24 delivery.

All results will be returned within 48 hours of us receiving your kits back at our lab.
