Our antigen/lateral flow test is a COVID-19 health screening service for identifying if you are positive or negative for COVID-19. In addition to this, it’s perfect for travellers who require an antigen lateral flow test before flying back to the UK or for travelling outbound to other countries that accept antigen lateral flow test results.

Your results are issued within a certificate which includes all the details of the test, as well as the essential details that enable you to fly.

Our test offers minimum specificity of 99.2% and a minimum sensitivity of 96.52%. This meets the standards set out by the UK Government regarding entry to the UK, as well as standards for several popular holiday destinations. Our tests are on the Common List of Rapid Antigen Tests for COVID-19 and the manufacturers are listed on the results certificate issued.

It’s a perfect low cost option to determine whether you are positive or negative for COVID-19 as part of the Public Health England testing requirements. If negative, this will allow you to return home from holiday or have the peace of mind of a negative result for work or leisure. It’s as easy as swabbing yourself then uploading a photo of the test to our online portal! We do the rest and issue your results direct to your account.

Please note: If you happen to be using this test for travel,  please check with your airline/country of travel to make sure that they require and accept lateral flow tests before booking.

The process if you’re flying:

1. Book your test in advance of your outbound travel, as you will need to allow for your tests to be posted out and arrive with you prior to departure- We would suggest ordering approximately a week before you fly. (All kits are sent Special Delivery with Royal Mail normally within 48 working hours of ordering, however at busy periods dispatch can take longer than this)
2. Check the contents of your kit include 1x swab, 1x lateral flow test device, 1x buffer solution tube and 1x dropper cap before you depart. Once you are abroad we are unable to issue any replacement items.
3. Take your test kits away with you on holiday (if using for return travel), taking extra care to take all parts of the kit with you.
4. Read the instructions included with your kit to complete your swab test. You must perform your lateral flow test in line with guidance regarding the timescales of testing to travel from your country of travel – Full information can be found on the GOV.UK website here – https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice
5. Log into your account at book.livingcare.co.uk and upload a picture of the lateral flow test device next to the passport for the individual linked to each sample in the results section of your order summary page, which can be found by viewing your order under the “orders” section.
6. A result will be issued to your online account for each person tested the same day as you upload it. This document will include the details that you input at the time of booking. Results are issued 7 days a week.

What is your refunds policy?

For this lateral flow test please note that once your item has been dispatched we are unable to refund your order. It’s also important that you check the current government guidance if you’re flying, and ensure that your test is required for this purpose. We are unable to offer refunds if you’ve purchased tests and they are no longer required, as this is a product for general health screening.
